Learn the scale in the video below and try using it while listening to the jam track below. If you are a beginner, just play up and down the scale (trying to play in time with the music). Also, try "limiting" yourself to 1, 2, or 3 strings for instance, and try to vary the rhythm. Relax with it and have fun. If you stay in the A minor Pentatonic scale and play to the jam track below, you won't be playing any wrong notes. There may be "stronger" notes you like better than others at times, but experiment. Use your ear. I also have the A minor Pentatonic Scale Forms 1 through 5 and a few sliding forms written out below. If you have been playing awhile, learn all the forms if you don't know them already. Notice where the circled octave notes are (the A notes). Those are the tone centers for the scale and are like a home base.
Beginners - just stick to Form 1 as shown in the first video below.
